About Us

What is the Bujinkan?

Bujinkan is an international martial arts organization based in Japan, founded by Masaaki Hatsumi in 1970. It encompasses nine classical martial art schools (ryūha) collectively known as Bujinkan Budō Taijutsu. The organization's training focuses on Budo Taijutsu, which emphasizes developing adaptable responses to various situations through a combination of physical and mental training.

Our Story

We are a community dedicated to preserving and promoting the authentic teachings of Bujinkan Martial Arts—a system rooted in the ancient Japanese traditions of the ninja and samurai. Our mission is to cultivate skill, discipline, and resilience through training that blends historical techniques with real-world application. We welcome practitioners of all levels who seek personal growth, self-defense proficiency, and a deeper understanding of martial philosophy. Led by experienced instructors committed to the integrity of the art, we honor the legacy of Soke Masaaki Hatsumi by training with spirit, respect, and purpose.
